“Transformative odyssey”

I decided to participate in the CA6 program at the University of Tsukuba because of my deep interest in Japan’s technological advancements that intersect with my research, as well as their innovative approach to sustainable urban development and the captivating beauty of traditional buildings that enchant the eyes.

My lips automatically curve into a smile whenever I look at the photos from Japan after returning to Indonesia. Those precious moments of first setting foot in the land of Sakura blossoms, experiencing the changing colors of leaves until they fell, and the journey from feeling shy when first meeting to enjoying conversations with international friends, though there were times when problems came and confused me.

Life continues without being fixated only on the past or present. The three-month experience in Tsukuba has transformed me into a different person. I will maintain positive behaviors, especially punctuality and time discipline, for the future.

The multinational connections formed during this program have taught me proper ways to communicate and the ability to view things from various perspectives.
